Medifast


Medifast has existed for many years, but it wasn't available to the general public at all - just doctors.

The Medifast 5 &1 Plan is a meal plan that consists of five small Medifast Meals of choice per day, including oatmeal, bars, shakes and the like. Users also eat one larger meal consisting of 5 ounces of protein and a serving of vegetables.

The Plan also has its own condiments and snacks available. Programs may be tailored specifically for men and women, as well as seniors, diabetics and those with lactose intolerance.

Medifast is a highly effective meal replacement diet, which has been satisfying customers for over 25 years. Medifast has been recommended by over 15,000 physicians and has been clinically proven at Johns Hopkins.

I know a couple people who have tried it. It isn’t clear cut. Some say it works, some say it doesn’t. I think it really depends on the person and the amount of dedication. Like any diet you need to ensure that you combine healthy eating habits both on and off the diet.

As with any diet program, you have to really work at it. But it's easier for me because I have compulsive overeating tendencies, and by telling myself, don't stress, you'll get more food in 2 hours, i have stuck with it.

So far, this is my mom and I's 2nd week. She lost 13 in the first week. I lost 9.

Also, the food is not seasoned, so add your own seasoning, or you'll be grossed out by how bland it is. Get the Caramel Nut bars, the strawberry shake and the chili. DO NOT get the oatmeal!!!
